Robin Cherenzia earned her MA in 2006 and began her career in sales in the Cell Culture industry in 2007; selling Fetal Bovine Serum, media and reagents to academic and small biotech companies. After 5 years she moved on to GE Healthcare Bioprocessing and Cell Technologies division. Realizing a need for Human Male AB serum for the Cell Therapy industry; she transitioned to Access Biologicals, who was selling human based blood products solely to the diagnostic industry. Robin and a former colleague joined forces to develop Access Cell Culture; producing Human Male AB serum manufactured to cGMP and for human cell therapy use. Since 2012 – Robin has assisted her colleagues in developing first to market, Human Male AB serum manufactured with therapeutic human thrombin; developed to minimize any potential risk to patients. She also worked in developing a virus validation study to prove gamma irradiation does kill live viruses in serum. In addition to the above, Robin has worked with companies from development through commercial use and has added ample testing to their specifications to ensure worldwide acceptance of their Human Male AB serum.
