The Emily Whitehead Foundation: Connecting Industry to Impact
As long-time partners of Hanson Wade and champions for the CAR-TCR Summit community, the Emily Whitehead Foundation is proud to stand alongside leaders advancing cell and gene therapy. Our mission is to forge personal, lasting connections between patients, families, and the professionals driving these breakthroughs.
Our Vision
Activating the cure so tens of thousands more patients like Emily can become cancer-free
Our Mission
To support patients and caregivers affected by childhood diseases and advocate for all patients who can be treated with advanced therapies
Founded by the family of Emily Whitehead—the first pediatric patient to receive CAR T-cell therapy—the foundation is rooted in advocacy, storytelling, and support for families navigating treatment.
Believe Bundles: Thoughtfully Curated Support for Patients and Families
Our latest initiative, Believe Bundles, delivers personalized care packages to pediatric oncology and hematology patients across the country. Each bundle is co-curated with hospital teams and our patient community to ensure every item is practical, comforting, and meaningful. Beyond the items themselves, each delivery offers a warm, encouraging introduction to the Emily Whitehead Foundation and the wider support network we offer.
These bundles create a bridge between care providers, patients, and industry sponsors—opening new doors for empathy-driven collaboration and impact.
