1:00 pm Workshop F:
Characterization for Process Control, What Can Be Done & When?

Time: 1:00 pm
day: Workshop Day Track C P2

Details:

Process control is of essence in manufacturing of Cell and Gene therapies. Due to the heterogeneity between donors/patients that is reflected in the cells for the manufacturing of the product, it might be a challenge to define what the most appropriate analytical tests and sampling points would be. Utilizing characterization methods in addition to what is usually utilized (such as viability, cell counts, cell expansion, etc.) can be an informative tool for process control.

Join this workshop to:

  • Learn about characterization
  • Explore why characterization can be a good tool for process control
  • Work on an example process and suggest sampling and tests that could be performed.
